90th anniversary of Azerbaijani television and 60th jubilee of Azerbaijani radio marked - PHOTO

Baku. 4 November. REPORT.AZ/ An event celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Radio and the 60th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Television has today been held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

Report informs, the event was attended by state and government officials, members of the parliament, heads of mass media organizations, and public figures.

The event started with the performance of “Radio march” by the Azerbaijan State Orchestra of Folk Instruments.

Participants then watched a footage of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s address at an anniversary event of AzTV.

The Azerbaijani President’s Assistance for Public and Political Affairs Ali Hasanov made a speech at the ceremony.

Then AzTV’s Symphonic Orchestra named after Niyazi performed overture from Uzeyir Hajibayli’s Koroglu opera.
