The Platform of Six proposed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will help increase trust between Baku and Yerevan and resolve humanitarian issues between the countries, Russian Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing.
Report's Russian bureau informs that, according to Zakharova, Karabakh is in Moscow's spotlight.
"Our main efforts are concentrated on the implementation of agreements. Resolution of humanitarian tasks, de-escalation of tension on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, deblocking of transport, and economic communications in the South Caucasus are among priorities. We support the intensification of the work of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs based on the existing mandate and with adequate respect to the new regional realities," she said.
