The situation in Karabakh has remained stable in recent days, no violations of the ceasefire have been recorded, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, the Russian bureau of Report informs.
"Servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent are monitoring the situation at 27 observation posts and continue to clear the area of explosives and ensure the safety of the return of refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh," she noted.
"The implementation of the statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia dated November 9 last year and January 11 this year was discussed on February 17 during telephone conversations between the president of Russia and the prime minister of Armenia, as well as the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry," Zakharova stressed.
It was also noted that work continues as part of the trilateral working group under the joint chairmanship of the deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia.
