Maria Zakharova: Russia will make every effort in 2019 to resolve Karabakh conflict

Baku. 26 December. REPORT.AZ/ Russia stands for all measures aimed at the earliest possible resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova said.

Report informs that she was commenting on the possible settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in 2019.

"We do not set a time frame. We have always advocated an early settlement and all measures that are aimed at the earliest possible resolution of this problem," Zakharova said.

She stressed that since the conflict is protracted, it is difficult to talk about the specific time frame for solving the problem.

"But everything that will depend on the Russian side, both as a co-chair, and in its national capacity, and as a country that has a common past with Azerbaijan and Armenia, a common history, everything necessary will be done", the Foreign Ministry spokesperson added.
