Well-known Mexican magazine writes on 270th anniversary of Shusha

The well-known Mexican magazine El Mundo has published an article about the history of Azerbaijan’s independence and relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico, Report informs.

The article widely covered the solemn event dedicated to the Independence Day of Azerbaijan, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico and the 270th anniversary of the founding of Shusha.

Azerbaijan, where people from about 40 different nations live in peace and harmony, is known for its rich traditions of multiculturalism, plays an important role in the development of intercultural dialogue, it is for this reason that Pope Francis called the country a model of tolerance.

The article also talks about the reconstruction carried out by the government of Azerbaijan in the cultural capital Shusha, which celebrates its 270th anniversary this year, and about numerous international cultural events held there.
