US ambassador hopes to continue negotiations on Karabakh

"We are always happy for constructive and substantive negotiations between the parties."

US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Earl Litzenberger said commenting on the Geneva meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"We are very pleased that the two sides engaged substantive talks and that they are committed to continue the dialogue", - the ambassador added.

Earlier, the US Embassy stated that the United States remained committed to promoting a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
