The UN doesn’t have a monitoring mission in the Karabakh region, and the organization calls on all parties to abide by the agreements reached so far to ensure the safety of the civilian population, Stéphane Dujarric, the spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, said at a press conference, Report informs.
His remarks came as a response to a question from Report's local bureau about Armenia’s non-compliance with the ceasefire in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the border with Azerbaijan and the silence of the international organization about the violation of the ceasefire.
The UN representative called on the parties to comply with the terms of the agreements reached.
