UK congratulates Azerbaijan on Karabakh victory

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan James Sharp has congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the Patriotic War's victory.

He conveyed his well-wishings at a meeting with Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov on January 22.

Noting that he would continue to work for the development of Azerbaijani-British relations, especially in the military field, Sharp said that the UK could assist Azerbaijan in clearing the liberated areas of mines and unexploded ordnance as part of bilateral cooperation.
