Daily failures, numerous losses, and critical positions during the battles compel the enemy to resort to various methods. Based on the principle of "all is fair in war," the enemy has already launched a slanderous and blackening campaign against the Azerbaijan Army's servicemen.

The Armenian side's statements that the Azerbaijan servicemen allegedly committed war crimes in the Tugh village of Khojavend region are nothing but slander. Report informs referring to the press service of the Ministry of Defence.

As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief noted: "We have never fought or will ever wage war against the civilian population." Armenia, however, has once again proved that it had committed a real war crime by brutally subjecting to rocket fire peaceful population in the Ganja and Barda cities.

"We declare that the Azerbaijan Army's military personnel comply with the requirements of the Geneva Convention and other regulatory legal acts, which are the basis of International Humanitarian Law. Azerbaijani Army service members engaged in the battles are observing the rules for treating the civilian population," statement reads.
