Surroundings of Aghdam’s Khachinchay reservoir completely cleared of mines

At present, the Emergencies Ministry, like all relevant structures, is involved in demining of liberated territories from mines and unexploded ordnance, Report informs, citing warrant officer Bahram Mammadov, an employee of the demining group of the Special Risk Rescue Service under the Emergencies Ministry.

The work is being carried out at an intensive pace: "Since January 3, 2021, the process of clearing Magsudlu village, the surroundings of Khachinchay reservoir and agricultural water canals of mines and unexploded ordnance has been going in Aghdam District.

“The Khachinchay reservoir and its surroundings have already been completely cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance. At present, the vicinity of the Magsudlu water canal is being cleared of mines. I urge citizens not to enter the liberated territories illegally bypassing police posts."
