President's Assistant: Some persons in US Congress are under captivity of Armenian lobby

"Recently, the Armenian lobby in the United States has launched a cheap smear campaign against Azerbaijan. They also appealed to the US Congress," Report quotes Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev 

"Unfortunately, there are some persons in the US Congress, who openly question their political legitimacy and act in concert with the Armenian lobby. These people are completely under the captivity of the Armenian lobby. "We think that the relevant committees of the US Congress should investigate their dirty ties with the Armenian lobby," he said.

Starting from the afternoon on July 12, units of the Armenian armed forces, grossly violated the ceasefire on the direction of the Tovuz region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.

As a result of the adequate steps undertaken by our units, the enemy was defeated and driven back suffering losses.
