Sharovsky: What Armenian fascists have done with our land is nightmare

“The great victory of our people during the 44-day war, our army under the leadership of outstanding President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief instilled in us confidence in the future. We are now the victorious people,” Head of the Community of European Jews in Baku, Alexander Sharovsky, told reporters in Aghdam, Report informs.

He said this victory made it possible for the heads of religious confessions and religious figures of Azerbaijan to visit Aghdam, and he shared his impressions of what he saw: “When I saw this, I thought it was an apocalypse, I decided that I had a nightmare. Sappers stand every 20 meters along the road and remove mines from our sacred land. Nothing remained of the flourishing city of Aghdam.

To be honest, at the beginning of the trip we had smiles on our faces, but now this smile has faded away. What the Armenian fascists have done with our land is a nightmare,” he added.

At the same time, Sharovsky expressed confidence that Azerbaijan will be able to fully restore the liberated lands: “I am sure that if our country and our president could win the Patriotic War, we will be able to rebuild our homes, schools, hospitals. The only thing that cannot be fixed is the pain in the souls of people, who lost their loved ones. I curse those who mutilated our land, them and their kin.”
