Baku. 25 February. REPORT.AZ/ Preparations in the park where the memorial complex 'Mother's cry' ("Ana fəryadı") is located have been completed on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
According to Report, the cleaning and landscaping works have been fulfilled in the areas, new flowers were planted in the park and around the monument.
Beginning today the citizens visit the monument and commemorate the victims of the Khojaly tragedy.
Chief of the public policy and humanitarian affairs department of the Khatai district Executive Power Panah Imanov told Report that all the works conducted around the monument are completed.
The memorial complex 'Mother's cry' was erected in 1993.
Notably, the movement of all cars at Neftchilar, Khojaly, Yusif Safarov, Najafqulu Rafiyev avenues and streets and prospects parallel and intersecting them will be restricted due to the march to be held on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
The march will start from the intersection of the Neftchilar and Bulbul avenues. The march participants will cross the Azadlyg avenues, march along Yusif Safarov street to the 'Mother's cry' monument on Khojaly avenue and from there, turning around the monument, will march towards May 28 and A.Pushkin street.
In this connection, the movement of all vehicles will be restricted in the following routes: from the 14th kilometer of the Baku-Alyat road and exit of the Sadarak shopping center to the 3rd ring road; from the 20th precinct to Bailovo settlement, along the Khanlar street, to the Badandar settlement from Upper park road; from Bailovo settlement - Ahad Yagubov and Gulbala Aliyev streets to the 20th precinct settlement; from the Flag Square and administrative building of the Dalga Plaza to Useynov street.
The traffic in some streets will be redirected.
