Perseverance, determination, patriotism: 69th day of protests on Khankandi-Lachin road

The protests on the Khankandi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan have been going on for 69 days, Report informs.

There were no incidents during the night at the protest site, where security rules were followed at a high level.

As usual, the protesters opened this morning singing the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani activists continue the demonstrations despite the cold and frosty weather.

The eco-activists raise posters written in Azerbaijani, Russian and English on both sides of the road and chant slogans.

Their demands remain unchanged.

Protesters have been calling on the global community to protect the environment since the first day of the demonstrations.
