"A considerable number of Azerbaijani citizens went missing as a result of Armenian aggression. Armenia grossly violates international law," said the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Azerbaijan Republic, Sabina Aliyeva.
According to her, different disability groups have been assigned to hundreds of Azerbaijanis because of being physically and psychologically traumatized in Armenian captivity: "As the Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan, I paid attention to the issues on hostages and captives during the 44-day war. I have met with Armenian military captives. They expressed their satisfaction with the condition of detention and thanked Azerbaijani state."
