Martyred Azerbaijani border guard awarded posthumously

Azerbaijani border guard Orkhan Pashazade, who was killed in an Armenian provocation, has been posthumously awarded the 3rd degree Medal 'For Distinction in Military Service'.
An official of the State Border Service handed the medal to the martyr’s father at the funeral today, Report’s Mughan bureau informs.
On March 5 at 07.10 pm, the Armed Forces of Armenia flagrantly violated the ceasefire on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.
Border guard Pashazade Orkhan Nazim, born in 1996, was killed in sniper shelling in the direction of the Gushchu Ayrim village in the Gazakh region.
Although the soldier was immediately hospitalized, the doctors couldn’t save his life.
The martyred soldier was buried in Jafarkhanli village of Jalilabad region.
