Lavrov: Moscow and Baku see a compromise in Karabakh settlement

Russia, as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, will contribute to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Report informs, citing Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who spoke at a press conference following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku.

"We have an understanding that there is a compromise. This conflict is one of the most protracted in the CIS space," Lavrov said.

According to him, Russia, as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, will fully contribute to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“We hope that the results will be produced,” the Russian minister emphasized.
