Group of foreign travelers visits Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar, Lachin

A group of well-known travelers has visited Kalbajar and Lachin as part of their trip to the liberated Azerbaijani territories, Report’s correspondent accompanying the group informs.

The travelers started their journey from the Togana village and arrived in Kalbajar through the Omar Pass.

They examined the destruction that the Armenians left behind not only as a result of 30 years of occupation but also after the end of the war when they had to vacate illegal settlements in Azerbaijani territories. In 2020, while leaving Kalbajar, they burned down houses and schools to leave nothing behind, cutting down forests.

At the moment, travelers are in Lachin. Having familiarized themselves with the situation in the area, they will go further through the Lachin corridor.

On February 16, a delegation of famous travelers visited Shusha as part of a trip to the liberated Azerbaijani territories.
