Georgia does not recognize so-called “elections” in Azerbaijan’s occupied territories

Georgia does not recognize the so-called "presidential and parliamentary elections" held on March 31 in the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, says the country's Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The statement expresses Georgia's support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
"Georgia supports an exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the norms and principles of international law", - the ministry said.
