General responsible for losses in April war appointed Pashinyan's adviser

Baku. 19 December. REPORT.AZ/ Acting Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashiyan has appointed former Chief of the Intelligence Department of the Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Arshak Karapetyan as his adviser, Report informs citing Aysor.am.
Karapetyan was dismissed on April 26, 2016 by the decree of the then President Serzh Sargsyan. He was the main figure responsible for Armenia's losses in the battles with the Azerbaijani army in early April of that year.
Notably, Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Alik Mirzabekyan, Chief of Communications Service, Major General Komitas Muradyan and Head of the Intelligence Department of the head staff Arshak Karapetyan were dismissed under the same order of Sargsyan.
