First pilot project of 'smart village' in Zangilan to be ready by early next year

The first pilot project of the 'smart village' in the Zangilan district will be ready by the end of this year, or early next year, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his interview with the Anadolu Agency, Report informs.

"We did not lose time and start acting as soon as the war ended. It showed the strength of our state because money alone does not suffice for such work. Resources, labor force, team, technical capacities, qualifications are needed to that end. We mobilized all efforts. By the end of the year, we will complete electrical works. Electricity will be ensured to the entire region. Construction of roads is also underway. We are doing this primarily for our citizens so that we could restore this region and help the former IDPs to return there in the nearest future," the head of state said.
