"This is a ghostly place. The Armenians have destroyed absolutely everything here," Khalid Taimur Akram, executive director of the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) in Islamabad, who visited Aghdam, told Report.
“Everything has been destroyed - the Aghdam mosque, the museum. The international community must see this. The UN must take note of the war crimes committed by Armenia over the past 27 years,” he said.
The expert also condemned the Armenian side for not handing over a map of minefields to Azerbaijan: “It is because of this that it is very dangerous here. I call on the international community to put pressure on Armenia in this matter.”
