“It is hard to express in words all the devastation observed in the liberated territories, destroyed cities and villages,” Stanislava Rousova, the President of “Open Doors of Europe” Public Foundation (Czech Republic) who, as part of a large delegation of foreign NGOs, visited Edilli, where a mass grave of Azerbaijani soldiers who participated in the First Karabakh War was discovered, told Report.
“I am so grateful that they brought us here and I was able to see everything with my own eyes. It is my first visit to Azerbaijan and the scale of the devastation and tragedy I have seen is indescribable,” she said.
According to her, it is essential for a person to see the truth with one’s own eyes: “Then you can convey it to the world, or at least you try to.”
On October 15, a delegation of foreign experts and NGO representatives visited the Edilli village of the Khojavend district, which was freed from Armenian occupation. The delegation includes NGO representatives from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Serbia, Romania, Turkiye, and Estonia.
