Cultural events of Turkic world to be held in Shusha, says Azerbaijani FM

"During the Patriotic War, the Turkic Council actively supported the just voice of Azerbaijan, adopting a number of statements. The Secretary-General of the Council paid several visits to Azerbaijan. We appreciate the organization's assistance in this direction," Jeyhun Bayramov said at a briefing after an extraordinary meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council.

According to him, employees of the Turkic Council regularly trip Baku: "Discussions on several topics are held. The revival of Karabakh and the construction work is a topic of great discussion. Holding a business forum, attracting investors from Turkic countries, and returning a second life to Karabakh is always a point of discussion. Concrete steps are being taken in this regard."

The Minister said that Shusha, the capital of Azerbaijani culture, is expected to be declared the cultural capital of the Turkic World: "We believe that numerous events related to the culture of the Turkic world are planned to take place in Shusha in the near future."
