Construction of two airports has begun in East Zangezur, says AZAL's vice president

"Today is an important day. Two large aircraft - the passenger Airbus A340-500 of Azerbaijan Airlines and the cargo Boeing 747-400 of the Silk Way Airlines - made technical flights to the Fuzuli International Airport, which is considered the air gateway of Karabakh," Vice President of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Eldar Hajiyev told reporters, Report informs

"Words cannot convey the feelings that each of us is experiencing here today. We thank the Supreme Commander and the Azerbaijani Army for making it possible for us to experience these feelings. Imagine, just a year ago, the enemy held these lands, and 11 months ago, fierce battles happened here," he said.

Eldar Hajiyev also added that the construction of two airports has begun in East Zangezur by the relevant presidential decree.
