Report

"I believe that the visit of Armenian journalists to Baku, Ganja and Guba, and the visit of Azerbaijani journalists to Yerevan and the occupied Shusha and Khankendi will have a significant impact on the peaceful coexistence of two communities within Azerbaijan's territorial integrity," head of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tural Ganjaliyev said at a press conference on meetings of community members in Los Angeles and Ankara.

He said that these visits will have a positive impact on their return to their native lands as part of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan: "Because we have always stated that we are ready to live with the Armenian community. We believe that these meetings can be useful. Armenian journalists visited Baku, Ganja and Guba. They met with various agencies in Azerbaijan and representatives of the Nagorno-Karabakh community. They were familiarized with ASAN service and DOST centers, the Armenian church in the center of Baku, got acquainted with the Armenian-language books stored there. At the same time, they were informed about the activities carried out in our country and the services provided by the Azerbaijani state. Our journalists also visited Yerevan, the occupied cities of Khankendi and Shusha. They held meetings with representatives of the Armenian community. We believe that such visits will be a stimulus for the inter-communal dialogue that we always encourage and maintain, as well as peaceful coexistence”.
