Colonel: Peacekeepers bear responsibility for two civilians killed by mine explosion

"I think that the mines that killed two civilians in the village of Dashalti in Shusha have been buried recently. Because so far, there have been many trips in that direction," Retired colonel, military expert Uzeyir Jafarov told Report.

He stressed that the Russian peacekeepers bear responsibility for these areas: "So, we are talking about their irresponsibility in the tragic event. In general, Armenians have recently expanded the scale of provocations. Thus, in the coming months, the evil deeds of the Armenians will intensify because Armenian officials meet with their patrons and receive instructions from them. But we must deal with this issue. While building a school in Karabakh, Armenian landmine terror must be prevented."

Jafarov said that in accordance with the terms of the tripartite agreement between Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia, Armenian terrorists must be disarmed: "In fact, this work should have been done a year ago. But it's too late since peacekeepers do not seem involved in this matter. Of course, international organizations are also interested in the escalation of the situation. This allows them to come to the region. Unfortunately, such tragic events are neither the first nor the last. Therefore, we must sharply raise the issue of collecting weapons from the Armenians in Karabakh. To do this, we must launch an anti-terrorist operation ourselves."

Since November 10, 2020, 7 servicemen and 29 civilians have been killed by landmines in the liberated territories, while 109 servicemen and 44 civilians have been injured. It is a clear example of Armenia's terrorist intentions.
