At the initiative of the Center for Analysis of International Relations of Azerbaijan in Brussels, considered the political center of the European Union, a round table conference
was held at the European Policy Center (EPC).
Report informs, citing the Center for International Relations Analysis, that the main topic of discussion at the meeting, which was attended by the leadership of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh, members of the EU mission in Azerbaijan, representatives of various structures and organizations in Brussels, was the relations between Azerbaijan and the EU, the latest situation with the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
When discussing the current state of relations between the EU and Azerbaijan, it was reported that the negotiations are held on a framework agreement pending renewal. In continuation of the speech, Chairman of the Center Farid Shafiyev brought to the attention of participants that Armenia, grossly violating international law, keeps Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding areas under occupation.
The head of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh, Tural Ganjaliyev, noted the inadmissibility of violating the fundamental rights of people who, because of the conflict, left their native lands and for many years have been forced to remain in the status of internally displaced persons.
