Canadian expert: Karabakh's past and future associated with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is making a lot of efforts to turn Karabakh into a modern model for the entire region, Canadian expert Sebastien Bussua said.

"Karabakh's past and future are associated with Azerbaijan. It is very important to know how this region will be restored - the construction of houses, the return of people here. This is very important because Karabakh is a very symbolic region, which is closely connected with the history, culture, and poetry of Azerbaijan," Bussua said.

According to him, it is essential to restore the liberated territories and integrate them into the country and then into the region. Bussua noted that Azerbaijan is coping well with this task, restoring roads, building very modern infrastructure, including the International Airport in Fuzuli, and implementing the project of 'smart cities.'

"Karabakh can become a link between the past and the future to show that Azerbaijan is a leader in the region," the Canadian expert said, noting that the restoration of transport communications would benefit the entire region.
