Brenda Shaffer: Armenia hinders peace with its provocative acts

Famous US radio program "John Batchelor Show" has aired a podcast mulling the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

A professor at Georgetown University, energy specialist Brenda Shaffer and Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Elin Suleymanov attended the program as guests; the Embassy told Report.

"The provocative actions of Armenia and the Armenians are unacceptable and only impede the peace against the backdrop of the negotiations on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Professor Shaffer stressed.

"The Armenian lobby does not want peace in the region," she said.

The expert emphasized that Armenians living in the US, resort to various provocations through websites and social networks, and hinder the preparation of nations for peace.
