Azerbaijani FM: Armenia plans attack in advance

"The scale and intensity of the shootings show that the Armenian side planned this attack and concentrated a large number of weapons and ammunition in the area that does not belong to the zone of active military operations," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said in an interview with TASS.

"The severity of the shelling of Azerbaijan's border areas and civilian facilities there were intended to create panic among the civilian population and force people to flee their homes. The attack was carried out in the direction of great energy and transport infrastructure facilities. Naturally, the internal political, social, and economic problems exacerbated by the pandemic in Armenia have influenced the time of the armed attack," the minister emphasized.
