Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry warns Russian peacekeepers

The Armenian side is purposefully resorting to provocations to escalate the situation, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry told Report.

"All this is taking place against the background of the irresponsible and provocative order of the new Minister of Defense of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan to the Armenian army to use force by all means. Armenia's former defense minister David Tonoyan also put forward the provocative military doctrine of 'New wars, new territories.' His shameful fate is known to everyone," the ministry said, adding that the Azerbaijani army will take all adequate measures.

"In line with the tripartite statement, the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation must put an end to the presence of Armenian armed forces in the territory of Azerbaijan where the peacekeepers are temporarily stationed," the ministry said.
