Russian FM: Azerbaijan and Armenia in talks over exchange of prisoners

"The exchange of prisoners and hostages is always on the agenda," Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

"This issue was discussed at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia in Moscow in April this year. I want to note that such actions are the first step towards improving the conditions of prisoners and hostages. Negotiations are also underway for the exchange of other prisoners. If the parties reach an agreement, we will support it," Zakharova said.
