    Former politician wants to concentrate his time on not-for-profit work

    Baku. 21 September. REPORT.AZ/ Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has ended his business activity.

    Report informs citing Tengrinews, he informed his employees via the official website.

    According to the information, former politician wants to concentrate his time on not-for-profit work. A statement on his website said the "substantial reserves" that Tony Blair Associates (TBA), established in 2008, has accumulated will now be gifted to not-for-profit work.

    He confirmed that he would retain a small number of personal consultancies for his income, but 80 per cent of time will be pro bono on the not-for-profit side.

    Notably, TBA is engaged in consultancy services. The media spread information that the organization's first client Kuwait has paid £27 million for the company. Also, TBA cooperation with the Khazakstan government reported, advising the regime on economic reforms.

    T.Blair led British government from 1997 to 2007.
