Scientists identified countries with most lazy and mobile population

Baku. 13 July. REPORT.AZ/ Stanford University scientists used data from smartphones and identified countries with most lazy and mobile population.

Report informs citing the Russian media, the study involved 717,000 men and women from 111 countries, whose footsteps were recorded for 95 days.

With the help of accelerometers, with which all modern smartphones are equipped, scientists were able to assess the number of human steps taken. It turned out that the average number of steps walked by citizens of surveyed countries was 4,961 per day.

The most mobile people are in China (6189 steps), the most "lazy" countries are Malaysia (3963), Saudi Arabia (3807) and Indonesia (3513).
