New Mongolian president refuses to settle in state residence and plans to walk to work

Baku. 17 July. REPORT.AZ/ The new president of Mongolia, Battulga Khaltmaa refused to move to the state residence (Ikh Tenger complex) next to the mansions of the Speaker of Parliament Zandaakhüügiin Enkhbold and Prime Minister Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat.

Report informs, the last 63 years, all former leaders of Mongolia lived in a protected area in the mountains of Bogdo Uul.

Battulga decided to settle in a small house next to the Central Post, once winter home of Tsedenbal.

Battulga intends to walk to his work every day, the distance is 400 meters.

"The president's administration hopes that many officials will also give up huge jeeps and other luxuries in their work and lives," the report says.
