Elderly karateka fights off bear attack

Baku. 1 August. REPORT.AZ/ Hiroto Miyagawa 68, from Japan who came face-to-face with a snarling bear took things into his own hands - and unleashed his karate skills on the beast.

Report informs citing the Russian media.

The man was working in field near the house in the city of Fuefuki in the Yamanashi prefecture when he was attacked by bear with body length of about 1.6 m.

According to an elderly karateka, he kicked bear in the stomach and chest, after which it fled to the mountains. The man suffered minor injuries.
