UN official: Under Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, great development period began in the region

Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, a great development period has begun in the region, the Executive Director of the UN-HABITAT program, Maimunah Mohd Shari, told an international conference on “Decolonization Dialogues: Legacy, Challenges, and Progress," Report informs.

"There are few such leaders in the world today. I am sure that Baku will host the World Urban Development Forum at a high level and will become the capital of the world. The hospitality of the Azerbaijani people is well known," she said.
