UK envoy to Azerbaijan visits world’s first hovercraft barge

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp has visited the world’s first hovercraft barge designed by CMI Offshore and built in cooperation with ASCO CJSC (Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company), Report informs.

“I visited the world’s first hovercraft barge, designed by CMIOffshore and built in partnership with ASCO CJSC. This barge is a good example of advanced British ship design and production, as well as British-Azerbaijani cooperation,” the ambassador tweeted.
