People are losing trust in public service and increasingly rarely view it as a promising career.
Report informs that Emilia Saiz, Secretary General of the international organization United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), said this at the presentation of the Global Master's Program in City Management (MCA) held as part of WUF13 in Baku.
According to her, declining trust in public service and political careers affects the quality of personnel entering politics, as well as state, local and regional administrations.
Saiz also emphasized that creating an attractive career path in urban governance is important for the future.
