Turkish electric car TOGG to go on sale in few days

The first serial electric car of Turkish production TOGG will be on sale in a few days. Its starting price is expected to be 1 million lira (about $53,000), Report informs via Yeni Safak.

"The project, within the framework of which the pre-order process will begin this week with the announcement of its price, will turn another dream into reality. Starting from the end of March, 20,000 cars will be delivered to their owners gradually until the end of 2023, according to the order," the newspaper reads.

The C-SUV Togg with a 200 horsepower engine will be sold 'at an affordable price' due to the ceiling limit of 1.6 million lira (about 85 thousand dollars).

The official opening ceremony of the plant for the production of the first mass-produced electric car of Turkish production TOGG took place in October. The model will be available in two versions - sedan and SUV. The creators claim that it will take no more than 30 minutes to charge the battery of any of the cars, which will allow you to drive up to 500 kilometers. The price of the car has not yet been disclosed, it was only said that it would depend on the market situation.
