Tunnel drilling for new Baku Metro station completes

Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ In accordance with Metro Lines Conceptual Development Scheme at 'Baku Metro' CJSC and as continuation of development stage of underground roads of Baku, penstock assembly chamber made for drilling machine relevant to hydrogeological conditions of area in the direction of 'B-5'station.

Report informs to the CJSC, shield, which ended its work today, will be used in other areas in future. After completion of installation works of new shield, 'Herrenknecht' road will be continued to 'B-5' station.

Notably, movement of 'Violet' line of 'Herrenknecht' drilling complex from 'Avtovaghzal' station to 'Memar Ajami-2' station has started on August 1, 2011.
