State agency: New road to mud volcanoes under construction

The State Motor Road Agency of Azerbaijan (AAYDA) is building a new road leading to a modern tourist infrastructure on the territory of the mud volcanoes in Absheron District, Report informs citing the agency.

The length of the new road will be 21 km. With the 12-meter subgrade of the road, the width of the asphalt concrete pavement is 8 meters.

Currently, the work is underway to lay the new asphalt concrete pavement.
