India will build 30 million homes over the next five years, Sanjay Shukla, Managing Director of the National Housing Bank, said during an event held within the framework of World Urban Forum 13 in Baku.
According to Report, he said India is a country of diversity.
"There are different approaches to settlement in various parts of the country. However, thanks to our consistent efforts, from 2014 to 2019 we delivered 29.5 million homes. In the next five years, 30 million homes will be delivered," he said.
