Russia’s agricultural watchdog allows export of timber to Azerbaijan

The department of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control (Rosselkhoznadzor) for Kirov, the Republic of Udmurtia, and the Perm region inspected over 15,020 cubic meters of wood products exported from Perm to Azerbaijan in October 2021, Report informs, citing Rosselkhoznadzor.

According to the information, all products passed the laboratory control at the Perm branch of the service. No quarantine pests were found during the laboratory tests. The consignment met the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.

Since the beginning of the year, a total of 325,680 cubic meters of timber products have been inspected and 3,223 phytosanitary certificates have been issued.
