Baku. 10 August. REPORT.AZ/ “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC is planning to build railway line to the Shahdag and Gabala tourism centers.
Report informs citing the official media, Kheyrulla Humbatov, the Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party's (YAP) organization at "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC, said.
Noting that the development program of the Azerbaijani railways is being prepared, Kheyrulla Humbatov said that in accordance with the investment portfolio determined for the next 3 years, it is planned to overhaul the Yalama-Astara railway, commission the Baku-Ganja-Baku high-speed train and carry out works on the construction of the second bridge on the Kur River in Yevlakh.
It is also planned to pave railway lines to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport and the Shahdag and Gabala Tourim Centers in the upcoming years. Currently, design works of the lines are being carried out.
