President of Commerse Chamber: Armenia-Iran railway project is not so promising for Tehran

Baku. 23 July. REPORT.AZ/ Armenia-Iran railway project is not so promising for Tehran.

Report informs, the president of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia Tigran Jrbashyan said in an interview with EAdaily.com.

According to him, the cause of the futility of this project is that soon Iran will have connection with Russia through railway communication through Azerbaijan

With regard to the construction of the Iran-Armenia railway I think that's probably the Armenian project than a joint. Of course, for Iran it would be nice to have a rail link with Armenia, but this project has no future",  concluded Jrbashyan.
