President: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan play important role in Middle Corridor

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has announced great plans to develop transport and logistics infrastructure.

"Both Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan implemented timely steps to create this infrastructure," President Ilham Aliyev said, speaking at an expanded meeting with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

"Now it is about connecting the flow of cargo between our countries and increasing its volume, increasing the transit potential of our countries. The relevant authorities have been actively interacting in this direction for some time. In my opinion, the Middle Corridor has a great perspective and, of course, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan play an important role in the implementation of this project," the head of state said.
