Peter Szijjártó: EU leaders doing their best to have photo opportunity with President of Azerbaijan

Leaders of European countries are now doing their best to have a photo opportunity with the President of Azerbaijan to get some natural gas, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said at the groundbreaking ceremony for the village of Soltanli in the Jabrayil district.

Szijjártó recalled that 13 years ago, European countries harshly criticized the Hungarian Prime Minister for visiting Azerbaijan.

""Those European and other western politicians who criticized and attacked us at that time are the ones who are now doing their best to have a photo opportunity with the President of Azerbaijan to get some natural gas. Our friendship, the friendship between Hungary and Azerbaijan is a real friendship," he said.
