Government incentives are important for private investment in housing programs, Uruguay's Minister of Housing and Territorial Planning, Tamara Paseyro, said at an event during WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
According to her, the main foundation is each country's national budget, supplemented by contributions from multilateral organizations and private investment.
"To attract private investment, three aspects need to be combined in a single program: support in the form of tax incentives and the establishment of a price cap on apartments based on the number of rooms. I believe that combining these three aspects in a single program is essential," she said.
